stand the test of time...

Brief- to create a high chair that can be used by the child throughout its early years.

I created a free standing childs highchair that is made from a tubular metal frame chair with foam cushions and wipe clean cushion covers, with plywood side boards that allow the chair to be altered in height. For when the child reaches an age where it can sit on a chair by theirself the side boards can be removed and the child can use the chair by itself.
The highchair can be altered in height via the wooden slats supports underneath the chair that secure into the side boards via the dowel pins.

The chair with the side boards removed for when the child reaches an age on where they can sit by thierselves in a chair.

The metal frame bent via a series of different jigs and welded together.
