limited space...

In the ever growing world population living space is getting more confined, especially within cities and large towns, instead of houses they are replaced with sky high apartment blocks. Within these environments space is a major issue, there is no room for unnecessary pieces of furniture and in some cases people have to sacrifice the essential furniture pieces.
After conducting research within an example of confined living space, university halls of residence, the main areas that people needed more room for was table/desk space, storage and seating.

This is my solution for my research group of students, Picture Perfect, by its appearance it looks like a photo frame however the front panel can be folded down via a hinge, supporting extendable legs also fold down to allow a flat table space to be revealed. As the top panel is folded down there is also a lockable inner storage cupboard, with room to hold a laptop or A4 folders and other compartments for smaller pieces to be stored away. Also within the inner storage panel there is a magnetic whiteboard and a pin board.

My product on a mock up example wall.
